Schmincke’s Medium W – 60ml Jar

Medium W is used as al alternative to turpentine and linseed oil. It allows oil colours to be mixed with water. The artist tools can also be cleaned with soap and water.

Medium W should be mixed with a ratio of 2 parts oil to 1-part Medium W. Water can then be added. Odourless and low solvent, Medium W increases the gloss and transparency of the paints . When mixed with oils and water the alkyd resin in Medium W undergoes a temporary colour change before restoring the paints to their original brilliance and vibrancy on drying.

Shake before use. Store safely. Contains alkyd resin.
